It's All About Local Community
Organised by the new charity, Ampthill Cultural Events, the Ampthill Big Tent Weekend celebrates community spirit through music and arts, showcasing, and celebrating the diverse talents and contributions of the Ampthill community.
What's On
Friday 11th July - Gates Open @ 18:30
Big Tent Tributes night featuring the fabulous Planet Abba and Now That's What I Call BritPop.
The evening opens with the winners of a local school band competition.

Saturday 12th July - Gates Open @ 17:30
The Ampthill Concert Orchestra covering popular classics along with special guests including The Rock Choir

Sunday 13th July - Midday to 18:00
Brought to you with the help of the local school PTAs and youth organisations. There will be inflatables, food and drink stalls, craft activities, and story-telling as well as live music, including the Ampthill Town Band, and a mega Football Goal Challenge - with a very special surprise guest.
All the entries to the ECO Sculpture Competition are on display - and YOU can cast your vote for who you think should win!

Sustainability
It's at the heart of everything we do!
The AMPTHILL BIG TENT WEEKEND is all about pollution control, reducing and recycling waste, promoting local food sourcing, and activities designed to raise awareness about the value of sustainability.
Food & Drink
On all three days there will be a can bar (selling a variety of drinks) and food vans.
You are welcome to bring your own alcohol to the event. Type and quantity are strictly limited per person to one of the following:
- 4 x sealed 500ml cans of beer, lager, cider or similar
- 2 x 375ml of wine (or equivalent) or 750ml wine decanted into a non-glass container
- 4 x sealed 250ml cans of spirits with mixers
STRICTLY NO GLASS PLEASE as we are on a school playing field.
